Tourney Ground

Rod and Michelle Walker from
Australias premier Jousting troupe, Full Tilt,
supported by the Emirates, will present an action packed
weekend program
of medieval colour, high drama and spectacle.
Its too hard to imagine without being there: the sound
of hooves drumming
on the ground, the crash of thunder as two tons of man,
metal,
horse flesh and bone collide head-on;
all the pageantry of a medieval fayre!
Dont miss the drama of this ancient Sport of
Kings.
Bring your kids to see history come alive. |

most respected, best paid, and the most widely traveled
group of warriors of the early Middle Ages. Their valiant
traditions and the fascinating and intricate culture of
the world in which they lived are kept alive using the latest

The name The Huscarls
comes from the name given to the elite guard of the Saxon
kings of England during part of this Viking Age. The name
was also used in parts of Scandinavia before this time.
We perform combat demonstrations, battle re-enactments and
displays of authentic crafts and games of the period. We
perform shows at schools fetes, carnivals and other events.
We give talks and demonstrations to schools, historical
societies and take part in sponsored events. On occasion
society members have been involved in recreations for film
and television. |
